July - HBU Summer Harp Camp
July - Midwest Harp Conference - does not conflict with HBU

At the most recent Harp Journeys in Houston, I was reminded that many of you really enjoyed our catalogs with fur stories.  We'll put some of the stories up on our blog.  Right now we have begun with our current foster, Tayler.  Blog story here.

New Music!

Frank Voltz has 2 new composition: Entrada and Reflections.  If you liked Gloria!,you will be very pleased with Entrada.

Meg Robinson's Latest ensemble creation is called Hope.  It was commissioned by the American Harp Society.  For 3 pedal harps, it is rhythmic and uplifting.  You can hear it and also view the premier performance on a You Tube HERE.

Diana Stork has a new book called California Celtic - read about it here.  We also now have an mp3 sample of her composition (really cool piece) Dangerous Waters.

Our own local composer, Julia Sanders, has quite a few compositions available, including Japanese Waterlily.  See all Julia's music HERE.

William Mahan's "Monet's Garden" is available now!  Optional CD played by Mary Radspinner.

Barbara Semmann's Quintabile is now available as a download, and of course as a paper book.

Just about every Rhett Barnwell title we carry is now available in download form!  Rhett is a very popular arranger and lecturer for the harp. His music is appropriate for many occasions.  He is in our "best selling" category and also in the Download category.

Accessories - we do have the Loveland Lever caps made by Dusty Strings Harps.

Mary will be teaching again at the Capital Harp Retreat, along with Kim Robertson, Ann Lobotzke and Ray Pool!  June of this year - just a few months away!

Peace and Blessings from the folks at Melody's and Afghan Press Music for Harp. Have a safe and peaceful Easter Season.

If you want to keep in the loop, but not receive our e-mails, please consider liking us on FB.  We'll post our announcements there.  If you need to change your e-mail, you can use the unsubscribe option to do that, too. When we send out these announcements, many times we receive a great deal of orders, and sometimes we even run out of certain titles.  We attempt to keep a 4-month supply of each title on hand at all times, based on the current and previous year sales history. If we have run out of a title, you won't be able to order it, but please know that we make every attempt to restock within 10 days.

We generally ship using media mail.  Media is printed or recorded matter, and it used to be known as "book rate" or "library rate".  It is the least expensive way to ship.  We use new box material, or a cardboard support in a new padded envelope to protect your music. We have found that new packaging material survives the journey best, so we don't use recycled material when sending out your orders (except for bubble wrap and paper padding), but we encourage you to recycle the packaging material you receive from us. We flatten and recycle all cardboard boxes from our vendors, and we reuse the bubble wrap.

Your friends at Melody's!
Brought to you by Melody's Traditional Music & Afghan Press Music for Harp. Thanks for reading down this far!  Have a great and harpy day!
