Kelly Devlin Clarification & Irish News Items from IrishCentral

I think my email on Kelly Devlin might have caused some confusion.  Kelly is the wife of Patrick Devlin, the leader of the Blaggards.  The Blaggards, as well as other Irish groups in Houston, have done a lot to support Irish Aires, the St Patrick's Day parade & Toys for Tots (to mention a few).

Kelly has a very serious case of Cancer.  Because she is under Medicare age (by a long way) and can't work, her only insurance coverage is that of a COBRA policy (which is expensive with a high deductible & co-pays). Of course Celtic Rock groups don't have OR couldn't get group insurance & Obama care hasn't been able to pay her bills in the past.

Any way, Kelly's sister, Jennifer Nichols, set up a site on GoFundMe.com to raise money for Kelly.  I am afraid that some of you might not have received a working link to that site.  The link is http://www.gofundme.com/Kellykissingerdevlin.  Since last night Irish Aires efforts have raised about $325.00.  Anything you can do would be appreciated.  That would include including them in your prayers. If you are on FaceBook, visit her site by clicking here.

Here are some news stories I saw on Irish Central that might be of interest.
