Jed Marum's Magical, Mystery Tour to Ireland (Nov 16-24, 2013)

This coming November (16th-24th), I'll be touring Ireland and I'd love to have you join me! I'll be accompanied by Mark Clavey, guitarist and singer for the Kansas City Celtic-band Tullamore. This upcoming tour will be a 9-day, 2-performance BUS TOUR, and I'll be taking 50 friends, fans, and family with me. So consider this your official invitation to join me in Ireland in 2013.

I've attached a flyer with details, but let me run through the basics of the tour...
  • We'll depart from Newark on Saturday evening, November 16th, for an overnight flight to Shannon Airport, and we'll arrive Sunday morning.
  • We'll spend seven nights in Ireland, overnighting in Listowel (two nights), Cong, Cork (two nights), and Dublin (two nights). We'll be staying exclusively in first-class hotels, including one night's stay at Cong's luxurious Ashford Castle, Ireland's top-rated castle. We'll depart from Dublin on Sunday morning, November 24th, returning to Newark on Sunday afternoon.
  • We'll visit the Cliffs of Moher, the seaside storybook-town of Dingle, the Rock of CashelBlarney Castle, the Cobh Heritage Centre, the Midleton Distillery,Kilkenny Castle, the 6th-century monastic settlement of Glendalough... and you'll have an entire day on your own in Dublin!
  • Mark and I will perform in concert at St John's Arts Centre in Listowel, and at the Briery Gap Cultural Centre in Macroom.
  • We'll have a full Irish breakfast daily, and we'll dine three times as a group - at dinner at the Listowel Arms Hotel, at a banquet at Ashford Castle, and at dinner at Cork's River Lee Hotel.
The price of the tour is an incredible $1674 (plus US departure-tax). This modest price includes international airfare, all accommodations, the sightseeing specified, admission to both performances, the meals listed, the services of a professional Irish driver/guide in a deluxe motor-coach, the services of Hammond Tour escorts, porterage of one suitcase, and all hotel-taxes, service-charges, and tips (except to the driver/guide)!

Hammond Tours is producing the tour and will handle all of the business. The attached flyer contains all of the information you'll need to register on the tour. You can handle your registration by mail, but I recommend you call them and register over the phone so they can answer each and every question you might have. While I'll be hearing from them periodically regarding new registrations, I invite you to let me know as well if you decide to register.

If there's anything you'd like to know in particular about the tour, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. You can e-mail me, or call me at (214) 534-7118.

This will be the time of your life, and I look forward to traveling with you all! Don't miss this incredible opportunity! Call Hammond Tours, put your deposit down, and reserve your seat right away!!

I'm really excited about this tour and the prospect of you joining me!
