PRESS RELEASE

Leg Amputation will not deter
Tom Horan from marching in the
2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Houston, TX – Tom Horan, who is to St. Patrick's Day what Santa Claus is to Christmas, will not let the amputation of his left leg in June 2011 prevent him from marching in the 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Horan, since he was 18 years old, will march in his 49th St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17, 2012 in Downtown Houston.

Tom Horan was the St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal in 2001.

Horan thanks all of the doctors and nurses at Methodist Hospital and TIRR and especially Jon Holmes, his prosthetic specialist, for getting him ready to march in the parade.

Horan and his family will march with the Erin Go Braugh Society of America in Section B, #24 in the parade.
