Lightening Strikes KPFT - Extra Need for Donations
Today, Friday, Feb 3 around 2:45 PM a bolt of lighting struck near the KPFT studio knocking us off the air and damaging some of our most important technical equipment.
In order to fix or replace the damaged equipment, estimated at several thousands of dollars, we NEED to raise more funds during our Winter Pledge Drive and so we can use your help more than ever to answer phones during the remainder of the Drive until next Sunday, February 12.
The Phone Volunteer Schedule is UPDATED & working by clicking the link on our homepage at www.kpft.org to see all of the open shifts. You can also email volunteer@kpft.org to sign up for your favorite shifts.
Please sign up for as many shifts as you can!
Open Shifts for this weekend are:
- Sat , Feb 4: 9 am - 12 noon; 12noon - 3 pm; 3 pm - 6 pm
- Sun, Feb 5: 8 - 11 am; 11- 2 pm, 2 - 4 pm; 4 -7pm; 7-11pm; 11pm-2 am
- Mon, Feb 6: 6 - 8 am; 1 - 5 pm; 5 - 8 pm; 8 - 11 pm
- Tues, Feb 7: 6 - 8 am; 8 - 11 am; 11 am - 1 pm; 4 - 6pm; 6 - 8 pm; 8 -11pm
Remember, you don't have to work a full shift, it helps even you can come for part of a shift or part of two shifts.
