It is official – the Silver Thistle Pipe Band will be performing in Governor Perry’s Inaugural parade in Austin on January 16th! We just hope that this is only the beginning and that our State will finally realize the world class pipers that we have here in Texas!!! Special thanks to Ken Liechti and all the members of the Silver Thistle Pipe Band who have agreed to perform without proper compensation! We know that you will do a fantastic job!
