We've definitely gotten 2006 off to a great start! Have a look for yourself! excerpts from the website: Each year Edinburgh celebrates Hogmanay with a four-day programme of festivities. It kicks off Thursday night with the historic Torchlight Procession. Some 15,000 people are expected to take part in this popular event, which will feature the Lerwick Up Helly AA Vikings and The Clann. The crowds will move in procession from Parliament Square on the Royal Mile for a finale of music, fireworks and the burning of a 33ft Viking Longship atop Calton Hill.
