TONIGHT: We had 13 dancers and danced: St. Andrews' Fair (1x), Deil Amang the Tailors (1x), Blackadder House, Tribute to the Borders, Glasgow Country Dance, Mrs. Stewart's Jig, Sugar Candie, Highlandman's Umbrella, Neidpath Castle (twice), Cadgers in the Canongate and Jennifer's Jig. (all from the Houston Ball Program)

Duncan Recital Hall Alice Pratt Brown Hall at Rice University Featuring music by C. Debussy, G. Gershwin, A. Glazunov, F. Mendelssohn, A Tcherepnin, folk songs, and more. MEMORIAL TRIBUTE TO HAZEL YOUNG 2pm [Note: Hazel Young was the mother of Scottish Country Dancer Ed Young], who passed away July 7 2005. 2nd floor of Treemont Retirement Center, 2501 Westerland, Houston TX. This is not a formal service, so come casual and enjoy the refreshments & the opportunity to view some family photo albums & just visit with all those who were touched by Hazel's smile & her joy of living. Bill is presently playing in a band called "Cairde" (Little Rock, Arkansas); they will be playing for a Scottish Festival known as "Clanjamfry" in late September in Memphis, Tennessee. Bill has been a featured performer at the Acoustic Sounds Cafe in Little Rock, Arkansas.
