For addition info, contact Jan Zollars at jan.zollars@hccs.edu or Lynn Gibson at lynne@abacusrecords.com July 30: Melody's Traditional Music and Friends Present: Dulcimers 4 Dawgs A sweetsong musical fundraiser benefiting three dog rescue groups in the Houston area: Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue, Afghan Hound Rescue of Greater Houston, and Pals for Pooches! Join us for hours of great dulcimer music, volunteered by Suzanne Campling, Mary Radspinner, the North Harris County Dulcimer Society, and more! You'll hear mountain dulcimers, hammered dulcimers, Irish flutes, harps, and Autoharps played by Houston's finest! We'll have hot dogs (appropriately), items for sale from each group, some fabulous silent auction items, information about the rescue groups, and a whole lot of fun! There will even be "dog art" - made by the crafty pooches themselves! Available adoptees will be on hand to shake, give paws and kisses. Join us for this good cause! Admission is free, donations are gratefully accepted. It's for the Dawgs!!!
