2005 Scottish Festival Spectacular Friday, March 11, 2005 8:00 PM See the three time World-Champion St. Thomas Pipe Band when the 2005 Scottish Festival Spectacular comes to Toyota Center. There will be authentic traditional piping and dancing performed with a quality rarely seen on this continent. But there’s much more. The band is a leader in the fusion of bagpipe and electronic music. Two of their recordings were named Best Pipe Music CD by the leading piping magazine Piper and Drummer in 2000 and 2004. In addition the dancers are known for their blending of traditional Scottish steps with contemporary themes, flair, and humor.
