Obituary

John Cotter Flowers died November 9, 2013 at home with his family.

He was born in Berwyn, Illinois to the late Jess and Helen Flowers. John attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio and completed his MBA at Loyola University in Chicago. He married the love of his life 33 years ago in Chicago, and they moved to Houston to start their life together.

John was always fixing, building, or tinkering with some project. He opened IRISH PUB-KENNEALLYS in 1983 and introduced great Chicago pizza and Irish music to Houston. He was able to celebrate the Pub's 30th Anniversary last month surrounded by so many friends.

He can now rest comfortably and enjoy the views of all the oceans and beaches he loved.

John is survived by his loving wife Sheila, daughter Mary (Adrian) Chavvarria, son Kevin (Lacey) Flowers and granddaughter Teagan, and his daughter Monica Flowers. John so loved his family.
