Please attend the Peace Through Commerce Conference Luncheon Presentation

When: 12noon

Where: Ahern Room of the Crooker Center, 3909 Graustark, UST Campus

Free and Open to the Public

Bill Flynn, namesake of the UST Center for Irish Studies and Chairman Emeritus of Mutual of America Insurance Company, will speak with Irish Studies Director Lori Gallagher about how, as a business leader, he became involved in the Northern Ireland Peace Process. Bill Flynn also is the Chairman of the National Committee of American Foreign Policy.

Peace through Commerce: The World in Your Classroom - The World in Your Boardroom Evening Lecture

When: 7pm

Where: Jones Hall, 3910 Yoakum Blvd, UST Campus

Presenters:

Frances Hesselbein, President and CEO of the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute, was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her leadership and service as a pioneer for women, volunteerism, diversity and opportunity.

Fr. Oliver Williams, CSC is the Director of the Center for Ethics and Religious Values at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. Fr. Williams also is editor of Peace through Commerce: Responsible Corporate Leadership and the Ideals of the United Nations Global Compact, which addresses the global corporate role in promoting more peaceful societies.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
