This is a page which I stash links that I use from time to time. There are categories for Dancing & Recreation, Bookstores City of Houston; Neighborhoods Media Libraries, Museums & Theaters Guides to Houston Traffic, Travel & Transportation Parks & Nature Food, Wine, Parties & Restaurants Schools & Universities HARRY POTTER UPDATE MOVIE: July 13, 2007 - projected release date in the US for the next Harry Potter movie"Order of the Phoenix" director: David Yates to view confirmed cast members: http://www.mugglenet.com/movies/movie5/otpcast.shtml BOOK 7 No word on book 7 although fan websites are projecting summer 2007 as earliest. The Leaky Cauldron speculates that 7/7/07 is a likely date. Also from the Leaky Cauldron page: Book 7 FAQ The following things will happen, according to the timeline and practices set by other books or things Jo Rowling has said: [excerpts]: The last chapter will contain details of what will happen to survivors. The last word is still "scar" (but may easily change). The locked Ministry room may resurface. We'll hear about Dumbledore's other letters to Petunia. Umbridge will return. There is yet more to come about Rita Skeeter We will discover what Dudley saw when the Dementor approached in book five. The two-way mirror from book five will likely resurface. We will find out what happened to Sirius's flying motorbike, Krum will appear. Sirius may appear again, though in which form is uncertain. We will find out a little bit more about Harry's grandparents. Harry's eye color (or something about his eyes resembling his mother's) is very important to this book. Wormtail's life-debt to Harry will come into play. James and Lily Potter's professions/more about their lives will be revealed. The gleam of triumph seen in Dumbledore's eyes at the end of book four is still enormously important. Harry may time-travel again. A non-magical character will perform magic in "desperate circumstances." Mr. Weasley's car will appear. There's an important kind of redemptive pattern to Snape. One of Harry's classmates will become a Hogwarts teacher. A huge piece of information is coming about Lily Potter. We will find out why some witches and wizards become ghosts and some do not. The "Godric" in "Godric's Hollow" is not insignificant. [Dianna's note: of course Harry will have a battle with Lord Voldemort; will visit the Dursleys and attend Bill & Fleur's wedding before he starts his search for the horcruxes.] CALENDAR PAGE details on all items listed below can be found on the webpage at: CURRENT MONTH UPCOMING MONTHS THE COMING WEEK: 22 THURSDAY Celtic Chorus of Houston note: change of location Churchill Room, Black Labrador Pub (Montrose near Richmond) 7:30-9:30 pm ROYAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE SOCIETY: HOUSTON & DISTRICT BRANCH SOCIAL Dad's Club Studio A 1008 Voss Rd.
