Texas Rose of Tralee The International Rose of Tralee has begun its search for the 2006 Texas Rose Who will represent the Lone Star State at the International Rose of Tralee Festival in Co. Kerry, Ireland in August 2006 Eligibility Criteria Must be 18 – 28 Single, never been married and or have any children Born or be a resident of Texas and living in the United States legally Be of Irish origin by virtue of one of her ancestors having been born in Ireland The Texas Rose will be chosen at a Selection Ball early June in the DFW area hosted by the Texas Rose of Tralee Committee. Characteristics the Judges will be looking for Appreciation of Irish Heritage Intelligence Personality Character Verbal Communication Poise Physical Appearance The Texas Rose of Tralee will receive: Round trip ticket for 12 days in Ireland Tiara Clothing Allowance And much more…..
