THE ROVERS RETURN

Dianna's Note:  The Rovers Return played for the dancing at John Cooper
School in the Woodlands last Friday where I led the dancing; I've heard them
play a number of times and always enjoy their music; they played last year
at the Houston Highland Games.  I enjoy their CD "Five Leaf Rover."

To hear samples of their music:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/theroversreturn.htm

The band currently consists of:  George Jamieson, Andy Richardson, Karen
Sinclair & Thor Sinclair. (also on the CD is Jon Howlett)

Track List on the CD:
Star of the County Down, Flowers of Edinburgh/The Wonder Hornpipe/Navvie on
the Line, Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye, Raglan Road, Get Up Old Woman and Shake
Yourself/The Spey in Spate, Waxie's Dargle, These Hands Will Be Yours/Come
in From the Rain/The Smokey House, Soldier's Joy/Harvest Home, Will You Go
Lassie Go?, Whiskey in the Jar, Rattlin' Roarin' Willie/Drowsy Maggie, The
Blacksmith, The New Rigged Ship/The Full Rigged Ship, I'll Tell Me Ma, The
Humours of Glendar, I'm a Rover and Ae Fond Kiss.  Many of these are vocals
and you'll recognize familiar tunes with different words (probably the
original words :-)
